Can we efficiently register our Web site to U.S. search engines and directories directly from Europe?

You
can do it but we advise you to hire a U.S.-based company to
help you. Competition is ten times higher in the U.S. for ranking
on the Web. First thing, you have to be sure that your key words
match those used by an American person looking for your type
of products or services. Registering a Web site is not enough.
You have to fine-tune it for search engines and probably use
satellite Web sites for your 5 to 10 best key words if you want
to appear in the first 3 pages displayed by the search engines.
You will find very serious American companies that will do the
job and will give you back money if your Web site does not appear
within the first 3 pages of major search engines.
