Why should you offer an informative newsletter to your clients/prospects? |
If some Internet marketing campaigns have been questionable, we cannot reject the power of a periodic information newsletter as a new way to promote a brand or a product line. At least two major sales points are for it: There is no cost associated to the readership, and the message is delivered personally to your targeted audience within minutes. But producing a good newsletter costs time, as people do not want to receive commercial material only. If the message is too pushy, they would ask to be removed from the recipient list. The secret is to provide value-added information in the newsletter and include some "light advertising" for business problems they may encounter, and to which you provide an answer/solution. Whatever field you work in, people like tips, real stories, and generally "good to know" information. By doing so, your company will be perceived as an expert and advisor, and people will be more willing to get in touch with you when needed, or listen to your sales people when they call.
